Growing Baby........{North Dakota Baby Photographer}

You might remember this handsome little guy from his newborn pictures HERE. This is my newest nephew, Keenan, over Christmas at about 3 months old. He's such a serious little guy and rarely makes a peep! He loves just watching the world around him and taking it all in. I love this little man and can't wait to watch and photograph him as he grows into a little boy.

p.s. i love the how the light affects these photos! just something different and special about the way it surrounds this loved little one.

Fall Family............{Fargo Family Photographer}

Here is the last post from my fall family photos for 2010. I'm excited to be caught up and really enjoying this wonderful Christmas season with my own two little boys! Camera included, of course. I will have more personal photos coming soon on that front!

In the meantime, check out yet another wonderful family that I was blessed to photograph. Now let me tell you....I love photographing families. All families. Any families. But this family is one of those special ones. This beautiful momma just happens to be another one of my best friends! Wow, do I have a lot of best friends or what! I'm so lucky. I know.

I have forgotten how much I love shooting at the Plains Art Museum! Although I don't think it would have mattered where we shot these two because they were just ridiculously adorable! Their momma is from Florida, just here for a visit so I wanted to get their blog peek up before they all went home!

Fully Beautiful..........{Fargo Family Photographer}

You saw the sneak photos in THIS previous post.

I had so much fun photographing this family again. Not only because they are so dang adorable and not only because Melissa is one of my BFF's, but because the three of them together just make something beautiful! And this is one of the reasons I love the art of family photography sooooooo much. Because you put people together who love each other and you tell them to just have fun or whatever and you end up with some seriously amazing, emotionally driven photographs. Perhaps what makes these photographs even more emotional for me is that Melissa is just so beautiful ON THE INSIDE. Probably even more so than on the outside. And that says ALOT because someone called me and commented on the beautiful girl on my blog in the previous post. But let me just tell you a little something about Melissa. At one time, we were having a discussion about helping the homeless. And I explained that I really feel pulled to do this, especially when driving, but I NEVER DARE STOP and roll down my window. Melissa goes on to tell me that when she lived in CA she used to pass the same homeless guy everyday and she decided she would start bringing lunch for him on her way back to work from her lunch break. So she would make him a sandwhich, chips a drink and FRUIT! FRUIT people-she even added fruit. When Melissa does something she goes the extra mile!

I love that girl and I love this family!

Urban Cool.................{Fargo Contemporary Photographer}

This family just oozed of cool. I knew this when they lined up for their first family photo. I was turned the other way doing something with my camera and when I turned around they were standing like this! Straight out of some super cool magazine!So I snapped away.



The big brothers just couldn't stop the cool from emitting.















And this is my favorite layout! This was actually the mom's idea! She told me she wanted to do a large family photo in a wall art and then surround that wall art with close-up individual shots of all the family members! I love that she told me this during our shoot so I could get photos that would work wonderfully for her layout! Love love love it!
